A standard shipping container is 8ft (2.44 m) wide and 8ft 6in (2.59 m) tall, with lengths from 8ft to 45ft. The most common sizes are 20ft (6.06 m) and 40ft (12.19 m). High Cube versions add a foot of height. These dimensions are globally standardised by ISO so containers stack and ship anywhere.
