There is no limit to the configuration options when designing and building your Arctic SuperStore. Mix and match with different temperature zones (internal dividing walls/doors required) and even include blast-freezing or rapid-chilling zones to create open-plan or zoned chilled/deep-freeze warehouses of almost any shape and size.
We have installed SuperStores joined side-to-side, end-to-end and even side-to-ends.
A modular cold room for your business is much quicker and easier to install than a permanent cold room, reducing onsite installation to a matter of days in most cases and allowing you to keep daily operations running smoothly.
If ground space onsite is at a premium, we offer two-storey Arctic MegaStores. These increase internal height and are intended for use with pallet shelving and specialised material-handling equipment.

That’s where modular configurations come in. An Arctic SuperStore delivers the massive, open-plan volume of a permanent building with the flexibility of a temporary installation.
That adaptability extends to performance, too. Because a SuperStore operates anywhere from -40°C to +45°C, a single setup can pivot between entirely different operational phases – whether you’re freezing a bumper harvest, tempering ingredients for production or running industrial stress tests.

SuperStores have been installed inside buildings, attached to and adjacent to buildings or free-standing outdoors. Bespoke solutions include conveyor belt transfer of products, positioning at loading bay height, and we can even create a two-level SuperStore with both a ground and first floor (also known as a MegaStore). Floor strength permits the use of most types of indoor mechanical material handling equipment.
To make sure your Arctic SuperStore is as safe as can be, all our modular units are HACCP-compliant and workplace safety-compliant. They come with:
- Easy-opening doors. Larger installations include multiple exits for fire safety.
- Internal door release. For additional safety, we include an escape hatch on later models.
- Internally activated alarm with external siren and beacon.

Going modular can reduce your energy bills by up to 40%
If you were to place 10 refrigerated containers side by side and a few metres apart, the laws of physics dictate that solar heat will warm each unit from multiple directions – up, left, right, front and back.
However, when you create an Arctic SuperStore with TITAN UK, the internal walls are removed, so it’s like having one large container instead of 10.
And that means a significant reduction in heat loss. In tests, as much as 20%-40% less refrigeration is required to maintain a designated temperature throughout the cold store.
That’s true whether you’re setting a temperature for freezing or chilling. In short, by reducing the number of external walls, your bespoke cooler is less prone to solar heating – meaning less energy is needed.
