If you’re looking for a large shipping container, TITAN’s 40ft model is the way to go. This is the longest container that is readily available in the UK and has a colossal 27.52m2 of floor space.
It’s no wonder that so many of these have been converted for use as portable office space and welfare units. They feel like large rooms – and, in fact, are around 60% bigger than the average UK living room.
As a storage unit, a 40ft container gives you lots of space to play with. These leviathans are used up and down the UK as storage for machinery, tools, non-perishable foods, business stock, vehicles and 100 other things.
If you’re moving home and need to keep your goods secure for a while, a 40 foot container is usually sufficient for the entire contents of a 3-4 bedroom home.

WHAT CAN YOU FIT IN A 40FT SHIPPING CONTAINER?
If you are a business customer and like to measure the volume of your containers in Euro pallets, then the number you’ll need to know here is 25: you can fit 25 standard Euro pallets in a 40ft container.
What does that mean in terms of cubic metres? Well, our incredible 40ft containers have a colossal 66.40m3 of space. That’s a huge amount of room for your workplace goods.
Or, for private customers, we’ve calculated that this is enough space to store the contents of a typical home that has a floor space of 200-250m2.
If you need even more room, go for a 40ft high cube. These are exactly the same as standard 40ft shipping containers but have an additional 30cm of head height.
When it comes to safety and security, our 40ft shipping containers are hard to beat. Unlike some companies, our models come with four vertical locking bars – not three – which makes them incredibly difficult to get into without the keys to your padlock.
