TITAN’s 10ft shipping containers take you into the realm of large containers, and while many are hired or bought by private customers, 10-footers are an especially popular choice for commercial clients.
That’s because these 10ft containers look great in a business setting. Whether you want to put one or more of these tough metal boxes inside a warehouse as a secure, safe space or keep them around for the transportation of goods across your different depots, they’re perfect for the job.
And as they are made of super-tough corten steel, they can sit outside in your yard for decades.
For private customers, a 10-footer is a little like having the daddy of all sheds in the garden. There’s plenty of space – and lots of security, too. As well as being extremely durable, almost all of our containers come with a lock box.
Lock boxes protect your padlock and make it much more difficult for would-be thieves to get in.
Our 10ft shipping containers for hire are also used by small business clients who store stock or work products in them – either at home or in a yard. Users include everyone from carpenters and wedding planners to bike rental companies and florists.
If you want to buy or rent 10ft shipping containers from TITAN, they are available in multiple colours. Choose from blue, green, black, white and other great shades, according to your personal preference.
Why rent? Because when you hire a 10ft container, you have ultimate flexibility. Our monthly terms offer great value, and you can change your container (or end your rental) whenever you want to.
Rental clients are typically offered a container on a ‘best available’ basis, and their container will be in a good condition. Buyers, meanwhile, can specify which grade of 10ft container they want, from new (1-trip) down to our well-used C grade stock – subject to availability.
Our 10ft shipping containers for sale that are rated grade C are the oldest ones we supply. When available, these can often be snapped up at amazing prices. Please contact us to find out what we have at your local depot.
Our 10ft containers can take 5 standard Euro pallets and have a tare (empty) weight of 1,300kg. The floor area is 6.48m2. To make sure you have space for your 10 foot container, you need to know its external dimensions:
External dimensions
2.99m (length) x 2.44m (width) x 2.60m (height)
Now, let’s look at how much space you have inside. These are the internal dimensions of a 10ft shipping container from TITAN Containers.
Internal dimensions
2.83m (length) x 2.29m (width) x 2.38m (height)
As you’ll see, our standard 10ft shipping container is 30cm higher than our 8ft and 9ft models. This extra head space makes it feel much more open and roomy.
Our 10ft shipping containers for hire or to purchase are what we consider to be the smallest of our large containers. They have extra head height and width compared to smaller models – as well, of course, as extra length.
It means that a 10 footer is larger than a 9ft container in all dimensions. As a result, your storage space leaps up considerably – our 10ft shipping container has almost 40% more capacity than a 9ft container!
Renting a 10ft container from us – or buying one – means you can fit in large volumes of tools, building materials, stock, personal goods and more. Private customers find that they are especially good as a general ‘secure’ area for furniture storage.
Business customers, meanwhile, often rent a 10ft shipping container to safely store surplus work items that they only need now and then, such as chairs, tables, cleaning supplies, etc.
If our 10ft container’s not quite right for your needs, we’ve got something else in stock that will be! We also rent and sell:
